Continuous Flow Breathing Kit

Description of the equipment:

The Free-flow Breathing System allows divers or patients to inhale a breathing mixture that differs from the surrounding air within the hyperbaric chamber.
This system is specifically designed for the administration of oxygen-enriched mixtures, which are essential in hyperbaric oxygen therapy and for divers during chamber decompression.

The exhaled gases are directed outside via the dump circuit, ensuring the oxygen concentration inside the chamber remains at a safe level.

Flow meter features:

The O2 or the over-oxygenated mix is humidified with water squelching before entering the mask.
The adjustable flowmeter enables to provide gas input according to everyone’s needs.
The inflating bag enables to regulate the continuous oxygen flow and to perform mechanical respiratory ventilation on a patient showing breathing problems.

Flowmeter Characteristics:

    • Gas supply relative pressure up to 5 bar
    • Maximum gas flow: 15 l/min in ambient pressure

The inlet connection of the free-flow oro-nasal set has a diameter of 6 mm, allowing it to be attached to any standard low-pressure hoses.
The outlet of the oro-nasal set and the LB78 dump valve inlet feature 22 mm straight hose connectors, which can easily be adapted to various low-pressure hoses.
This is particularly useful for those who prefer using disposable hoses instead of our standard heavy-duty corrugated hose. If the oxygen supply is connected to the O2 bag, opt for Breathing Masks that do not have an oxygen inlet (see references below).

The LB78 dump valve and the free-flow oro-nasal set can be used independently or combined with equipment from other manufacturers.
