Description of the equipment:
The patient breathes either oxygen or the oxygen-enriched mixture from the regulator. The respiratory system allows patients to inhale a different breathing mixture than the ambient atmosphere inside the hyperbaric chamber. It has been specifically designed for breathing oxygen-rich mixtures used in hyperbaric oxygen therapy or by divers during decompression in a chamber. Exhaled respiratory gases are discharged outside through the venting system to maintain an acceptable oxygen concentration within the chambers.
